Alan Reid is a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. He has been shooting professionally for more than fifteen years and has travelled North and South of Ireland photographing some of the most beautiful weddings and locations.

My approach to photographing your wedding is to capture the unrehearsed, spontaneous moments that happen throughout your day.

My aim is to tell the story of your day, from the bride getting ready, right through to the first dance, creating tangible reminders of the feelings shared between a bride and groom.

Whether it is photographing your children, family or wedding, my aim is to capture emotions and relationships in a photojournalistic style.

Portraits best convey their subjects when they are in their natural environment, so whenever possible I prefer shooting with natural light. For these two reasons, all of my photo shoots are done on-location or in-home. My goal is to capture the personality and character of your family in relaxed, warm settings.
